Hard water scale buildup can be prevented by monitoring the timeframe when scale builds up on your surfaces and then using the ScalEliminator patented system as a preventative method by applying it prior to the previously observed scale buildup timeframe (i.e., If it’s noticed that scale starts to buildup in about 6 months. By using the ScalEliminator system every 5 months, you are removing any light scale that may be building up. By applying this timeframe method, you will be preventing the hard water scale from building up to unsightly levels).

The method is described in the instruction guide, which is as follows: 1. Protect surface not intended to be sprayed with SE solution 2. Spray SE patented solution onto surface with limescale buildup 3. An optional step is to lightly scrub the surface with non-scratch tool 4. Apply the SE patented infused sheet(s) directly onto the wet surface previously sprayed to ensure complete clinging of sheet(s) onto surface being treated for removal of lime scale 5. Spray patented SE solution onto the applied patented SE sheet(s) 6. Allow sheet(s) to cling onto surface while you go about your day. Just spray the sheet(s) as necessary to keep wet while sheet(s) are clinging onto surface 7. Depending on the amount of lime scale buildup, it could take from 30 minutes to several days for buildup to be removed 8. If lime scale build up is not completely removed after 1 day, remove sheet(s) and repeat steps 2 – 6. 9. Note - Be patient, especially where this is heavy lime scale buildup. Be assured, the scale will come oG with less eGort than other options by following the method above and being a little patient.

In our studies, the removal of limescale was accomplished as soon as 30 minutes and in some very heavy situations it took up to 5 days.
